Paying for Scor! Camp

Payment Options
We offer numerous payment methods for your convenience. Some of you have asked what method Scor! prefers. Electronic Check (E-Check) is our preferred method of payment (smallest fees and quickest turn around) with mailed checks being our second choice. However, feel free to choose whichever one works best for you.

Important: You must register online or by phone before submitting payment--be sure to click "Complete" at the end of the online form, or your registration info isn't saved!

Looking for Camp fees? Go to our Camps Page, click on a camp, click on the Offerings & Fees tab, and scroll down til you see our pricing table.

ONLINE:

Installment Plan: Pay just $99 when registering, followed by 2-5 easy, automatic monthly payments. YOU MUST PAY BY E-CHECK TO PARTICIPATE IN THE INSTALLMENT PLAN IN 2020 due to new system limitations. (Credit card options will return in 2021.) You can have the automatic payments withdrawn from your bank account. Refer to the detailed e-check instructions on this page for how to make your initial $99 payment.

This option makes your finances easier to manage and is now available for all Scor! Camps that are more than 3 months away. Learn all about the Scor! Installment Plan here.

Have a Credit from Cancelling?

Using your existing account credit: If you would like to know the exact amount of your available credit, contact us, as you can not view it online using our registration system. When registering, at the bottom of the Registration Summary page, under the heading "Have a Credit from Cancelling?" select the box "Yes, I have an account credit." Then, select one of the following payment methods: E-Check, PayPal, Check, Call-in. (Unfortunately, due to new 2020 system limitations, we cannot offer partial payments on credit cards, so if you want to use a credit card, you'll have to select "Call-in".)

We (Scor! Staff) will apply your account credit manually "on the back end" within a few days. You will receive an email showing your new balance due after your credit is applied. After that point, you can pay your remaining balance using the method you chose earlier.

FlexNote:

If you have a FlexNote investment with Symerge, you can convert a minimum of $100 from your FlexNote account, if applicable. Start by selecting "Electronic Check, Call-in, FlexNote" as your method of payment at checkout, and type "FlexNote" in the text box provided.

After you've registered, complete and submit a FlexNote conversion form, designating the amount applied towards your balance due. Contact us if you need to find out your current FlexNote balance. What is FlexNote?

Scor! Cancellation Policy

What if I am no longer able to attend and have to cancel?

Definitions: (“You” and “yours” refers to you, the Scor! client. “We”, “us”, and “ours” refers to Scor!)

Account Credit: We believe that you will enjoy a Scor! event so much that, if you need to cancel your registration, we will extend a credit to your Scor! client account. Credit remains in effect for this Scor! season and the next Scor! season, and expires after that time. Credit amounts vary, and are also subject to a cancellation fee and certain conditions--see below.

***Addendum for 2020 season (Effective March 12, 2020): We will be extending credits related to coronavirus cancellations for an additional season, so credits can be used for any Scor! Camp through the 2022 season.***

Cancellation Fees: These fees cover costs of a substantial number of administrative tasks required to process your cancellation:

  • Cancellation: Upon canceling your Scor! registration, a fee of $60 will be subtracted from your account credit.
  • Transfer My Registration: If you are canceling your Scor! registration of one camp and immediately transferring to another Scor! camp during the same season, a fee of $25 will be subtracted from your account credit.

Credit Amount: It is often necessary to make time-consuming changes to Scor! Camp group assignments, schedules & plans because of your cancellation. Because of this, your credit amount will be reduced if you cancel close to the date of camp. Listed below is the percentage your account will be credited (of your full amount paid minus the $60 cancellation fee), based on when you cancel. If you cancel...

  • More than 10 days before camp: 100% credit
  • 4-10 days before camp: 90% credit
  • 1-3 days before camp: 80% credit
  • "Day of" cancellations will be considered no-shows: 0% credit.  On the day the event begins, If you are unable to attend due to severe weather, travel delays, illness, or any other unforeseen situation, we are unfortunately not able to provide account credit for a future event or discounts/refunds.

Donation Option: A generous and purposed alternative to retaining a credit is to instruct staff to convert your credit to a tax-deductible charitable gift.

Refunds? Most of the costs involved with creating your Scor! experience are incurred well before the event. As a result, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds (including cash, check, credit card, Paypal, etc.).

Installment Plan: If you are participating in a Scor! installment plan and you cancel your registration, you may still retain a credit (subject to any cancellation fees listed above) for your monies paid to Scor! if you complete the installment plan in full.  If you cease making your installment payments however, you will not be granted account credit for a future Scor! camp, and any monies paid to Scor! as part of that plan will be forfeited. This is because we have already planned on the revenue promised by you, and we may need to take additional steps to address that gap in our budget.

Transferring Account Credit: We are unfortunately unable to transfer your account credits or Scor! registration to another person.

Phone Registrations: If you register for Scor! over the phone rather than using our complete online registration system, this complete Cancellation Policy will still apply to you and your registration.

Chargebacks: If due to cancelling a registration or any other reason (other than 3rd party fraud or an erroneous charge as agreed by both Scor! and you) you initiate a chargeback with your credit card company, you will be considered in violation of Scor! registration policy.  You will not be accepted at any future Scor! event unless all original monies from the contested registration are paid in full.  If you attempt to register for a future event, your registration will be reversed by Scor! staff when it is processed, unless back funds are paid in full via e-check or paper check, and fully cleared through the banks.

Event Cancellation by Scor!:  If, due to an act of God, illness, injury, severe weather (that prevents Scor! Staff from getting to the event), unforeseen extenuating circumstances, or death, Symerge (a.k.a. Scor!) cancels an event or a portion of an event, all registrants will receive a credit in the full amount paid for that event or event portion. An account credit for the cancelled portion, not to exceed all monies paid by the client for that event, will be the sole remedy to the client.

The Scor! Cancellation Policy and all other policy pertaining to Scor! are construed under the laws of New York State and Monroe County, the location of Symerge (a.k.a. Scor!) headquarters.

This Cancellation Policy was revised Nov. 9, 2018 and remains in effect perpetually or until a new revision is made by Scor!.
